THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

Katherine is an experienced counsellor and couples therapist with qualifications in both general counselling and Sex and Relationship Therapy, supporting individuals and couples to build healthier relationships with themselves, their partners, and their sexuality.
She works with clients across a broad range of concerns, including relationship conflict, communication difficulties, intimacy and desire concerns, emotional disconnection, identity exploration, body image concerns, and the impact of past experiences on relationships and sexual wellbeing.

Katherine’s approach is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. She creates a supportive space where clients can safely explore vulnerable or deeply personal experiences while developing greater emotional insight, confidence, and connection. Whether working with individuals or couples, Katherine supports clients to better understand the emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and life experiences that may be contributing to current challenges.

Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method approaches, and attachment-informed practice, Katherine tailors her work to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Her practice is neuro-affirming and inclusive of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and relationship structures, with a strong commitment to supporting LGBTIQASB+ clients.

Katherine is passionate about helping clients create meaningful and lasting change, fostering healthier communication, deeper connection, emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of self both within relationships and in everyday life.
