Dr. Chathu brings extensive clinical experience, having worked in institutions such as Mercy Health, Mercy Mental Health, and Austin Health. She obtained her primary medical degree from the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka and completed her GP training in Melbourne.

She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), and she holds a Diploma from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).

Additionally, Dr. Chathu has extended skills training in youth mental health through Headspace, equipping her with valuable expertise in addressing the unique needs of young and neurodiverse individuals.

Dr. Chathu’s compassionate and holistic approach to care ensures that every individual is listened to and receives the attention and support they deserve.

Dr. Chathu is one of the Directors of Inspire Health and Medical.

We are a special interest clinic operating from our Mitcham clinic. We are unable to offer a wide range of GP services such as immunisation, skin procedures and infusions. It is recommended that patients maintain their relationship with their regular GP clinic for the ongoing management of chronic health conditions.
