Neurodiversity-affirming psychology for children, adolescents and a disorders, anxiety, depression and complex presentations.
Areas of Interest
I’m a psychologist whose practice balances grounded and scientific approach to therapy. I aim to blend empirically supported interventions with a down-to-earth relaxed style. After a career spanning the military and running multidisciplinary clinics, I now focus clinically on helping people navigate their mental health and to understand their own subjective and objective experiences. My practice is informed by an integrated bio-psycho-social framework, exploring how biological, psychological, and social factors interact to shape who we are. In therapy, I prefer to draw from multiple frameworks rather than a singular uniform approach. I utilize a toolkit of various empirically supported methods (e.g. CBT, IFS, ACT, Schema, and DBT) to best match a person’s needs with specific strengths of specific therapeutic model
I have experience working with children (6+), adolescents, and adults across a broad range of presentations. Specifically, I am familiar with supporting clients who are navigating neurodiversity, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and complex personality presentations. I also work with executives and professionals, facilitating the integration of high-level performance with personal well-being. I aim to work with people from all walks of life, through challenges of everyday life to the uniquely complex or clinical circumstances.
