about

My name is Annette Matov and I am a qualified social worker with
nearly 20 years’ experience supporting children, young people, and families. I hold a Bachelor of Social Science (Youth Studies) and a Bachelor of Social Work. I have extensive experience supporting children, young people, and families. With a background in both primary and secondary school settings, I specialise in early intervention for social, emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges.

I take a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach and aim to create a safe, supportive space where children and young people feel understood and empowered. I provide counselling, mental health support, and social skills development, with a particular interest in anxiety, emotional regulation, family dynamics and peer relationships.

I work collaboratively with families to build practical strategies that support resilience, confidence, and positive wellbeing.
